Teatro alla Scala offers Companies the chance to host their own “public” events for communication and public relations purposes, conventions, anniversaries and special events.
The Event can be organised as follows:
EVENING IN SEASON Opera / Ballet / Concert from a minimum of 20 persons
OPPORTUNITIES OFFERED:
• Box Office: Book prime seats before the tickets go on sale to the public
• Desk: Possibility of using a customised desk for welcoming Guests to the Theatre Foyer (with a number of Guests higher than 80 – managed by staff from the Company)
• Theatre Programmes: Free copy of the show’s theatre programme for each Guest (possibility of customising with sleeves or covers, from 80 guests)
• Communication: Possibility to develop any initiatives the Company considers necessary for the purposes of providing information and promoting its commitment, with an end to showcasing its image as Sponsor of the Event
• Credits: On posters, bills and other official materials for the sponsored evening, with a number of Guests greater than 80, Company logo and thank you note for its support in staging the event
• Dedicated Page of Advertising in the show’s theatre programme (layout to be defined by common agreement, from 80 Guests)
• Prepaid Voucher: Possibility of offering Guests prepaid vouchers for the Theatre bars (to be used during intervals – costs and method to be defined with the manager of the catering service)
• Parking Piazza Meda – Best in Parking, Piazza Meda 2/A Milan, near the Theatre, at a special rate (discount of 40% for max. 200 cards)
• Cloakroom: The Theatre staff will be at the disposal of the Company’s Guests
• Merchandising produced by the La Scala Shop at special prices, with the option of customisation (costs and methods to be defined with the Shop manager)
EXCLUSIVE EVENING Opera / Ballet / Concert with complete use of the venue
Concert on an exclusive basis offering full use of the theatre
The Theatre Management identifies an available date in conjunction with the Company for organising an entirely dedicated and reserved Event (total 1,800 people)
THE STEPS WE FOLLOW TOGETHER:
1. Identifying a date and checking the production feasibility
2. Defining the spending budget to cover the costs for staging the Event
3. Artistic programme proposal by the Theatre’s Artistic Management
4. Defining the organisational aspects of the Event
5. Drafting the joint communication plan and relevant materials

OPPORTUNITIES OFFERED:
• Box Office: The Teatro alla Scala’s theatre hall is entirely at the disposal of the Sponsor (around 1,800 places overall). The ticketing services and premises for the Theatre’s Evening Box Office are at the Sponsor’s disposal for collection of the tickets
• Desk: Possibility of using a customised desk for welcoming Guests to the Theatre Foyer
• Theatre Programmes: Free copy of the Theatre programme for the show for each Guest (possibility of customising with sleeves or covers)
• Customised Programme: In the case of an Exclusive Concert, up to 2,000 Concert programmes will be produced and printed. In the programme for the Reserved Evening, the Company’s choice of wording can be included, along with a page of advertising
• Communication: Possibility to develop any initiatives the Company considers necessary for the purposes of providing information and promoting its commitment, with an end to showcasing its image as Sponsor of the Event
• Credits: Posters, bills and other official materials for the sponsored evening will include the Company logo and a thank you note for its support in staging the event
• Page of Advertising in the Theatre programme, in the case of Opera or Ballet (layout to be defined by common agreement)

The event is valued with the Company depending on the nature and artistic contents of the Evening
LOCATION FOR CORPORATE EVENTS
Toscanini Foyer
This is the Theatre’s main Foyer, an official and highly prestigious location. It can host gala dinners for up to 150 seated Guests (300 for buffets)
Gallerie Foyer
Situated on the first floor of the Theatre, this is a charming location which can host meetings or dinners for up to 130 seated Guests (200 for buffets)
The La Scala Theatre Museum
With its history spanning over 100 years and the priceless art collections housed in its rooms, this is one of Europe’s most important theatre Museums. It can host seated dinners for up to 30 seated Guests (120 for buffets). It may be rented outside of its opening hours to the public, from 6.30 pm
The catering expenses are not included, and must be defined on a separate basis with the service provider manager

• Placement: The four rows of boxes will be set aside for the Company’s Guests. La Scala Theatre’s box office will be at the Company’s disposal for collection of tickets

• Communication: Possibility to develop any initiatives the Company considers necessary for the purposes of providing information and promoting its commitment, with an end to showcasing its image as Sponsor of the Event

• Use of Premises: Prior to rehearsal (from 6.00 pm to 7.00 pm) the Theatre Museum will be at the Company’s disposal for organising a cocktail reception. Alternatively, the Gallerie Foyer is available for organising a dinner. Both premises are made available at no extra cost
GUIDED TOURS
By request, Guided Tours of the monumental part of the Theatre, the backstage and the La Scala Theatre Museum can be arranged. The tours are led by specialist guides and can also be given in a foreign language.
The Museum will also offer the permanent option of entertainment and interactive participation through the following projects, as chosen by the Company:
• Guided tours with final concert: A pianist, who may be accompanied by another instrument or by a solo singer, will offer a brief chamber concert (duration of around 20’)
• Tableau vivant: One of the works depicted in the Museum will come to life and tell members of the public its story
• The authors explain: The author of the work which the spectators will be watching on the reserved evening tells the story with interesting extra information about the history of the work itself
The above proposals must be agreed with the Marketing and Fundraising Direction, and quotes are prepared separately
