2nd day: MILAN / AOSTA
Breakfast in the hotel and, in the morning, visit to the historic center of Milan: the characteristic Gothic cathedral that dominates the square PIAZZA DUOMO, the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II and the Sforzesco Castle.
Lunch in a restaurant and departure for the Fenis to visit the homonymous castle, one of the best preserved medieval castle and the major tourist attractions in the Valley. At the end transfer to the hotel in Aosta, dinner and overnight.
3rd Day: AOSTA / MONTREUX / ANNECY
Breakfast in hotel and departure for Switzerland. The first stop will be Chillon Castle on Lake Geneva a few kilometers from Montreux. This architectural jewel, former residence of the Counts of Savoy, is the most visited historical building in Switzerland. Lunch in a restaurant in Montreux, a charming town famous for its Jazz Festival. In the afternoon continue of the visit along the lake till Geneva “the city of Peace” a city rich in culture and history. At the end continuation of the tour till Annecy. Hotel accommodation, dinner and overnight.
4th Day: ANNECY / TOURS
Breakfast in hotel. In the morning visit of the historic center of Annecy, crossed by several canals, and of the Castle that dominates the city. At the end, departure for the Loire Valley, the region of France known for its scenic beauty and the many castles. Lunch along the way. Arrival in Tours in the late afternoon. Hotel accommodation, dinner and overnight.
Day 5: TOURS / VALLEY OF THE LOIRE
Breakfast in hotel and departure for Chenonceaux for a guided tour of one of the most fascinating castles in the Loire Valley, built in Renaissance style on the Cher River and also known as the “castle of the ladies” built and inhabited mainly by noblewomen. Lunch in a restaurant and in the afternoon visit the Royal Castle of Amboise situated in a panoramic position overlooking to the river Loire. The visit continue to the Renaissance castle of Clos Lucé, famous for being the last residence of Leonardo da Vinci. Inside and in the large park the most spectacular inventions of the genius are preserved or rebuilt. At the end return to Tours, dinner and overnight.
Day 6: TOURS / CHAMBORD / VERSAILLES / PARIS
Breakfast in hotel and departure for Paris. In the morning, a brief stop to visit the exterior of the Chambord castle, an imposing Renaissance building masterpiece of King Francis I. Lunch in a restaurant in Versailles and visit of the famous Royal Palace built in the XVIIth century by Louis XIV (the Sun King). At the end transfer to Paris, hotel accommodation, dinner and overnight.
Day 7: PARIS
Breakfast in hotel and full day guided tour of Paris. The visit includes the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame Cathedral, a masterpiece of Gothic architecture, the Latin Quarter, where the famous university of Sorbonne is located, and the Montmartre hill, the traditional meeting place for artists. Lunch in a restaurant. Dinner and overnight.
Day 8: PARIS / FONTAINEBLEAU / STRASBOURG
Breakfast in hotel. In the morning visit to the castle of Fontainebleau, one of the largest castles in France that was the royal residence from the time of Francis I until Napoleon III. Lunch in a restaurant and departure to Strasbourg (seat of the European Parliament). Arrival in the afternoon, hotel accommodation, dinner and overnight.
Day 9: STRASBOURG / MONACO
Breakfast in hotel and visit of the ancient historic center of Strasbourg, located on an island of the Ill river and dominated by the imposing Gothic cathedral with a 142 meter high spire. Lunch in a restaurant and departure for Munich, the capital of Bavaria. Arrival in the late afternoon, hotel accommodation, dinner and overnight.
Day 10: MONACO
Breakfast in hotel. In the morning, visit the Marienplatz, the center and heart of the city, where the Rathaus (town hall) overlooks, on whose façade you can admire the famous Carillon, and the Frauenkirche cathedral. Lunch in a restaurant and in the afternoon a visit to Nymphenburg Castle, one of the main Wittelsbach summer residences. At the end return to the hotel, dinner and overnight .
