PIEDMONT – Turin the first capital of Italian Unification 3 days

Turin, the regional capital, was the first capital of Italian Unification and is certainly one of the most architecturally and culturally richest cities in Italy. In Turin you can relive the splendours of the Risorgimento (The Resurgence) and admire some of the most important museums in Europe: the Egyptian Museum, the Cinema Museum, Venaria Reale, the Auto Museum, the Museum of Contemporary Art at the Castle of Rivoli and the many noble castles scattered throughout the province of Turin.

1st day: TURIN Arrival of the group by own coach in Turin in the early afternoon. Meeting with the guide for a city tour up to the ascent to Superga for a panoramic view of the city. In the evening transfer to hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

2nd day: EGYPTIAN MUSEUM AND CINEMA MUSEUM Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to centre for the guided tour to the Museum Egyptian with an Egyptologist. Lunch in a typical restaurant with typical Piedmontese dishes and then meeting with the guide to the National Cinema Museum and the Mole Antonelliana. Ascent by lift to the top of the spire and back. In the evening return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

3rd day: REGGIA DI VENARIA REALE Breakfast in the hotel, release of the rooms and transfer to the Royal Palace of Venaria Reale. Meeting with the guide to visit the amazing Palace and magnificent gardens. Lunch in a typical restaurant nearby. End of services.
