1 st day : MONTEFELTRO area Arrival in Rimini and departure for Torriana, a little village of Montefeltro area for the guided visit to Castello di Montebello, famous for the legend of the Azzurrina Ghost. Then go on reaching Talamello, famous for the Ambra of Talamello a typical Cheese riped in pit. Visit to a local pit where the group will get a local menu for lunch. In the afternoon go on with the visit of Santarcangelo di Romagna, a lovely Medieval town, together with an ancient fabrics’s printing still in use. Transfer to hotel, dinner and overnight.
2 nd day : GRADARA and SAN LEO Breakfast in hotel, departure for Gradara for visiting the Rocca, the place where the love between Paolo and Francesca was decanted by Dante Alighieri into the “Divina Commedia”. Following the lunch with typical dishes of Romagna, in the afternoon transfer to San Leo, an old Medieval city with forced stop to the Fortezza and Duomo of San Leone. Free dinner in hotel and overnight.
3rd day : FAENZA and BRISIGHELLA Breakfast and departure to Faenza and visit to the International Museum of Ceramics (M.I.C.)* and then short city tour of Faenza. Typical lunch in a wonderful farmhouse . Afternoon dedicated to the discover of Brisighella, a little village made up of narrow streets , medieval walls and stairs carved into the chalk. Worth a stop, the Via del Borgo. During the trip back to the hotel, get a break for a wine and oil tasting. Free Dinner, transfer to hotel and overnight.
4 th day: RAVENNA and MOSAICI After breakfast departure for Ravenna, visit to the old downtown, full of several masterpieces: Dante Alighieri’s Grave, Sant’Apollinare Nuovo, San Vital Basilic and the breathtaking Mausoleo of Galla Placidia* that guests a series of mosaics till now still intact. Free Lunch. In the afternoon visit to Sant’Apollinare in Classe* just to admire the apse totally decorated by mosaics. In the evening come back to hotel, dinner and overnight. *Entry ticket not included.
5 th day: RIMINI Breakfast in hotel and meeting with the guide for the city tour of Rimini city: Ponte Tiberio, Arco of Augusto,… Late morning, take part to the cooking class “how to prepare the typical PIADINA”, then stop and lunch of Piadina made by yourself! In the afternoon visit to San Marino Republic for free visit and free shopping. Free Dinner and overnight in hotel.
6 th day: the WINES of ROMAGNA After breakfast departure for Bertinoro called “the Romagna’s balcony”, thanks to its Rocca, the little town enjoys of a wonderful and panoramic view. Short visit to the city center and then transfer to a Winery Farmhouse with guided tour around the vineyards and all wine cellars, visit also to the Museum of Farming Traditions and Museum of Vintage Car and Motorcycle. Lunch in typical restaurant and afternoon come back to Rimini, free time at disposal. Free Dinner and overnight in hotel.
7 th day: RIMINI After breakfast, trip back to home, end of service.
